General Rules for Strongers Events

Strongers Events Portal — events.strongers.org · Version: v1-2026 · Last revised: 17 June 2026

These General Rules govern registration and participation in events organised by Strongers Social Club ETS on the portal events.strongers.org. For each event, the event sheet and the discipline annex published for that event also apply in addition, and shall prevail in the event of conflict on the specific aspects they address.

1. Organiser

The organiser and owner of the events is Strongers Social Club ETS (CF 96564050589 — P.IVA 17380961007), Via Ruggero Fiore 38, 00136 Roma — info: privacy@strongers.org, PEC strongersc@pec.it.

2. Applicable Sources

Participation is governed by: these General Rules; the sheet and annex for the individual event; applicable legislation; any federation or sport promotion body regulations, where the event is subject to them. Non-federation events are organised on an amateur and recreational basis.

3. Acceptance of the Rules

Registration requires acceptance of these General Rules and the participation conditions for the event. Acceptance is recorded with the version and date of the text, for evidentiary purposes.

4. Participation Requirements

Persons who meet the requirements set out in the event sheet may participate (age, membership or licence where required, sport fitness). Participation presupposes adequate physical and mental condition.

5. Medical Certificate

Where required by the discipline or by applicable law, a valid medical certificate of sport fitness (competitive or non-competitive activity) is mandatory by law. The certificate must be uploaded in the personal area by the deadlines indicated and is kept confidentially, not published. Submission of the certificate is a condition of participation; its absence prevents competing.

6. Minors

Participation by minors, where permitted by the event sheet, is allowed only upon authorisation of the parent or legal guardian, who declares they are acting in the minor's best interest. Majority of age is calculated as at the date of the event. For minors, the parent/guardian authorises registration, confirms the medical certificate, and gives any authorisations relating to the name in the ranking and image.

7. Registration

Registration is carried out via the portal, by providing the required data and completing the authorisations and acknowledgements provided for. Registration is valid only if complete and following the relevant payment, where applicable. The Organisation may set a maximum number of registrants and close registrations early once places are filled.

8. Fees, Payments, Refunds and Transfers

The registration fee and any pricing tiers are indicated in the event sheet. Unless otherwise provided in the event sheet or by law, the fee is non-refundable in the event of withdrawal by the participant; in the event of cancellation of the event by the Organisation, the published refund policy applies. Transfers of registration to another person are permitted only if provided for in the event sheet and within the terms indicated therein.

9. Registration Confirmation, Check-in and Access Pass

Registration confirmation and check-in procedures (collection of bib number/identifier or access pass) are communicated via the portal and/or email. The bib number or identifier is personal and non-transferable.

10. Medical Assistance and Safety

The event takes place in compliance with the safety measures indicated by the Organisation and the venue manager. Where required by applicable law, a medical post is provided: in its absence the sporting activity does not commence. Participants are required to follow the instructions of staff, officials and security personnel.

11. Running Order, Suspension, Modification or Cancellation

The Organisation may modify the programme, timetable, course or format for technical, safety or force-majeure reasons, and may suspend or cancel the event. Official communications are made via the portal and official Strongers channels.

12. Timekeeping, Results and Rankings

Times, placings and rankings are recorded in accordance with the procedures set out in the event sheet. Start lists, rankings and results are public: the full name is published unless the participant (or the parent/guardian for minors) has not given the relevant consent, in which case the name is shown in reduced form. The right to object and request anonymisation upon reasoned request remains, in accordance with the Privacy Notice.

13. Complaints

Any complaints are submitted to the Organisation (or to the jury, where provided) within the deadlines indicated in the event sheet.

14. Prizes

Any prizes and award categories are indicated in the event sheet. Unless otherwise indicated, no cash prize money is provided.

15. Participant Conduct

Participants must conduct themselves correctly and respectfully towards staff, other participants, spectators and facilities. Unsporting, dangerous or disrespectful behaviour may result in a warning, penalty or disqualification.

16. Liability

By registering, the participant declares that they are in adequate physical and mental condition and are participating voluntarily. The Organisation adopts reasonable safety measures but is not liable for damage arising from the participant's reckless conduct, non-compliance with these Rules or force majeure, within the mandatory limits of law. Where an insurance policy is provided for the event (indicated in the event sheet), it covers participants within the terms and limits specified therein; what is covered by the policy remains unaffected. No clause of these Rules limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence (art. 1229 of the Italian Civil Code), nor criminal liability, which cannot be waived.

17. Personal Data and Images

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Notice. Any use of photos and videos depicting the participant is optional and subject to specific consent/release (for minors: from the parent/guardian).

18. Official Communications

Official communications are made via events.strongers.org and official Strongers channels. It is the participant's responsibility to consult them and keep their contact details up to date.

19. Residual Provisions

For matters not covered herein, reference is made to the event sheet, the discipline annex, applicable legislation and any applicable federation or body regulations.

  • Event type: non-federation; no authorisation/membership required.
  • Disciplines (in sequence, with transitions): Swimming 400 m → Indoor cycling Concept2 BikeErg 10 km → Running 2,5 km.

Medical fitness requirements

Participation in the event is subject to the submission of the medical certification set out in this article, valid on 6 September 2026.

Individual participation

An athlete taking part individually in the full race must present a certificate of fitness for competitive sport specific to triathlon (Italian "idoneità agonistica"), issued by a specialist doctor or an authorised facility in accordance with the applicable regulations.

For individual participation, certificates for non-competitive sporting activity and competitive certificates for disciplines other than triathlon are not accepted.

Relay participation

Each adult member of a relay team must present a valid medical certificate for non-competitive sporting activity.

Alternatively, the following are accepted:

  • a certificate of competitive fitness specific to triathlon;
  • for the swim leg, a certificate of competitive fitness specific to swimming;
  • for the BikeErg leg, a certificate of competitive fitness specific to cycling;
  • for the run leg, a certificate of competitive fitness specific to athletics.

Minor participants

A minor who is a member of a relay team must present a certificate of fitness for competitive sport specific to triathlon or to the discipline corresponding to the leg they complete.

Their participation is also subject to a written authorisation signed by a parent or the person holding parental responsibility.

Validity and verification of documents

The following are not accepted:

  • self-declarations regarding one's state of health;
  • anamnestic (medical history) certificates;
  • generic certificates;
  • certificates of "sound and robust constitution";
  • certificates that do not state fitness for sport;
  • certificates that have expired or that expire before the date of the event;
  • documents that are illegible, incomplete or that cannot be attributed to the participant.

The certification must be submitted within the deadline and in the manner communicated by the Organiser. Failure to submit a compliant certificate prevents participation in the event and cannot be remedied by waivers or declarations signed by the participant.

The doctor in charge of the medical station may prevent a participant from starting or stop their race if they observe conditions incompatible with continuing safely. The medical certification does not limit this power.

  • Referees and race officials: present during the event (trained volunteers).
  • Format and running order: races in heats spread throughout the entire day, with no final.
  • Rankings: single overall ranking, with age-category and gender rankings.
  • Prizes: medal for each participant; no final prize (no final is scheduled). For the relay of 3: one race pack per team containing 3 t-shirts and 3 medals (one per member).

  • Timekeeping, BikeErg stations, insurance, organisational officers: to be defined in the event sheet.
  • Publication of results: full name only with consent (otherwise in reduced form), with right to anonymisation.
